Every CD-ROM is specialized! The Make Reading Fun program is structured into four progressive modules. Within each of the four modules you'll find three Usborne books and their corresponding CD-ROM's including animated versions of the Usborne books, learning exercises, printable activities and helpful, short videos.

Make Reading Fun helps develop the whole reading-comprehension process, via vocabulary building, basic phonics skills, context clues, word recognition practice and so much more.

Modules

1.		Module 1 Includes three CD-ROMs and the following three books: Who's Making That Noise?, First Words, and ABC. Experts suggest that early childhood reading develops a higher intelligence quotient (IQ), and that children who detect rhyme are strong readers. Train your child's ear with simple sentences, repetitive phrases, animal and toy noise identification patterns and FUN beginning consonant rhymes. The "Categories Word Lotto" game with 60 everyday words will develop visual and cognitive learning. Printable flashcards and activities reinforce hands-on learning and retention.
2.		Module 2 Includes three CD-ROMs and the following books: Alphabet Book, First 100 Words, and The Silly Sheepdog. Strategies for continued success are formed here. Phonics activities include common word endings, as well as short and long vowels with silent "e." Putting these words together into sentences provides an opportunity for contextual learning, and builds the confidence necessary for more difficult material to come in the following modules. Includes FUN-filled games teaching alphabetical order, and upper and lower case recognition.
3.		Module 3 Includes three CD-ROMs and the following books: The Clumsy Crocodile, Everyday Words, and My Town. Allowing a child to work at his or her natural pace and repeating difficult lessons as often as required is key to a pressure-free, productive study environment. Add "Blend Shopping" in the Everglades Department Store with Cassy from The Clumsy Crocodile and you have learning made FUN! Children unwittingly learn consonant blends, vowel combinations and r-controlled vowel sounds with strong contextual learning in sentences. At the same time, they pick up geography and map reading skills in My Town.
4.		Module 4 Includes three CD-ROMs and the following books: Word Detective, Puzzle Jungle, and What's Inside You? Learn about parts of speech with helpful clues from Inspector Noun and his sleuthing gang in Word Detective. Learn all about prefixes. Scour Puzzle Jungle in search of suffixes and the Soaraway Bird. Make understanding body vocabulary and identifying body parts FUN. This module is an action packed trip into great reading comprehension through generous informational content. It reinforces spelling practice with FUN!
		Complete Set Includes modules 1 - 4 at a reduced price. This program is compiled for first learning students.
